The agent registry · Sentient.AI Agentic

Every agent, documented. One governed runtime.

The agents are the means, not the offer — what you buy is the function running Lights-Out. This registry documents the workforce that gets you there: every agent’s mandate, its operating loop step by step, the controls it runs under, and its default position on the autonomy dial. Definitions describe what each agent does — proof of what it has done lives in Results. Click any agent to expand it.

The division of labor

Agents take the intelligence. Your people keep the judgment.

Rule-dense, verifiable, high-volume work goes to agents under controls. What to accept, what to risk, what to sign stays human — at the exception queue. Every decision feeds agent policy: today’s judgment becomes tomorrow’s intelligence, and the dial moves right.

OFFICE OF THE CFO

Lights-Out Finance

The finance function that closes itself, with the controls included. Nine agents move finance from people running processes to agents running processes — with people on judgment, exceptions, and the controls.

Runs the financial close end to end: builds the task graph, sequences dependencies, prepares and posts journals, runs flux checks, and collects sign-offs — moving the close from a monthly scramble to a continuous state.

  1. Build the task graph. Reads the close calendar and entity structure, then compiles all close tasks into a dependency graph across every entity.
  2. Delegate to specialist agents. Dispatches reconciliation, consolidation, and sub-ledger work to sibling agents and tracks their progress in real time.
  3. Draft and post journals. Prepares accruals, provisions, and adjustments with full rationale; posts within threshold at A3, queues above threshold for approval.
  4. Run flux checks continuously. Compares actuals to forecast and prior period at every posting, drafting variance explanations as they emerge.
  5. Escalate only exceptions. Anything breaching policy or materiality lands in the Exception Workbench with a proposed resolution.
  6. Assemble sign-off evidence. Packages the completed close — every task, journal, and check — into an Evidence Ledger packet for controller sign-off.
Controls: JE-031 · CLS-002 · CLS-007 · Autonomy default A3

Matches bank, GL, sub-ledger, and intercompany balances across every entity, auto-certifies accounts within policy, and risk-scores every residual before a human ever sees it.

  1. Ingest statements and ledgers. Pulls bank statements and GL open items through Sentient Connect across all entities and banks.
  2. Match at machine confidence. The ML match engine clears items at ≥99.5% confidence, learning from every historical match.
  3. Risk-score the residuals. Unmatched items are scored on age, amount, counterparty, and pattern — not just flagged.
  4. Auto-certify within policy. Accounts that meet certification policy REC-002 are certified and hashed to the Evidence Ledger.
  5. Route true exceptions. Genuine breaks — like an intercompany mismatch — go to the Workbench with a drafted counterpart journal.
  6. Feed the close in real time. Certification status streams to the Close Agent so the close never waits on recs.
Controls: REC-002 · REC-011 · SOD-114 · Autonomy default A4

Runs multi-entity consolidation: FX translation, intercompany eliminations, minority interest, and late-adjustment reruns — producing a consolidated view that is always current.

  1. Load entity trial balances. Collects certified trial balances from every entity as the Reconciliation Agent releases them.
  2. Translate at governed rates. Applies FX translation using the controlled rate source, documenting every rate applied.
  3. Eliminate intercompany. Matches and eliminates IC balances and transactions, flagging incomplete pairs to the Workbench.
  4. Compute minority interest. Calculates NCI and equity pickups from the ownership register.
  5. Rerun on late adjustments. A late journal anywhere in the group triggers an incremental rerun — incremental and fully logged.
  6. Publish the consolidated view. Posts consolidated results to reporting with a complete elimination audit trail.
Controls: CON-004 · CON-009 · CON-012 · Autonomy default A3

Produces management reporting, variance narratives, board packs, and statutory disclosure drafts — every number tied out to the ledger, every narrative grounded in the flux analysis.

  1. Assemble from the ledger. Builds every schedule directly from consolidated actuals — no spreadsheet intermediaries.
  2. Explain the variances. Converts the Close Agent's flux checks into plain-language variance narratives with drivers quantified.
  3. Draft the pack. Lays out management reports and board materials in the house template, charts included.
  4. Prepare disclosures. Drafts statutory disclosures against the checklist, tagging XBRL where required.
  5. Hold for human judgment. At A2, nothing publishes itself: finance leadership reviews, edits, and releases.
  6. Log the lineage. Every figure in every pack carries its ledger lineage in the Evidence Ledger.
Controls: RPT-003 · RPT-008 · RPT-015 · Autonomy default A2

Maintains daily global cash positioning, forecasts liquidity, screens and assembles payment runs, and drafts hedging proposals when exposures breach policy bands.

  1. Position cash daily. Aggregates balances across every bank account by 6 a.m. local in every region.
  2. Forecast liquidity. Rolls a 13-week liquidity forecast from AR, AP, payroll, and treasury calendars.
  3. Watch policy bands. Monitors FX and interest exposures against treasury policy continuously.
  4. Draft hedge proposals. On a breach, compares instruments and bank quotes, then drafts a recommendation with full rationale — humans execute at A2.
  5. Screen every payment. Runs sanctions and fraud screens on payment runs before they reach the release gate.
  6. Evidence everything. Positions, proposals, and screens land in the Evidence Ledger for treasury committee review.
Controls: TRS-040 · TRS-021 · TRS-006 · Autonomy default A2

Maintains driver-based forecasts and rolling scenarios, diagnoses budget-versus-actual gaps with narrative, and keeps the plan continuously reconciled to actuals.

  1. Sync actuals nightly. Pulls closed actuals from the ledger so the plan always starts from the truth.
  2. Update the drivers. Re-estimates volume, price, and cost drivers from operational systems and market feeds.
  3. Roll the scenarios. Maintains base, upside, and downside cases with every assumption logged and versioned.
  4. Diagnose the gaps. Explains budget-versus-actual variances by driver, in narrative, with the math attached.
  5. Propose reforecasts. Recommends forecast updates for FP&A review — humans own the plan at A2.
  6. Brief the business. Publishes scenario summaries to leadership with sensitivity tables from the model.
Controls: PLN-002 · PLN-010 · Autonomy default A2

Processes invoices from ingestion to payment run: capture, coding, 3-way match, fraud and duplicate checks, and payment assembly — paying autonomously below threshold, gating above it.

  1. Capture every invoice. Ingests from EDI, email, and portals; extracts lines with document intelligence.
  2. Match three ways. Validates invoice against PO and goods receipt, resolving tolerances by policy.
  3. Screen for fraud and duplicates. Pattern-checks across vendors, bank details, and history before anything is payable.
  4. Code and accrue. Posts coding to the GL and raises accruals for received-not-invoiced automatically.
  5. Pay within threshold. Assembles payment runs; below the configured threshold executes at A3, above it routes to the approval gate.
  6. Hand exceptions with answers. A failed match arrives at the Workbench with the discrepancy isolated and a resolution drafted.
Controls: PAY-101 · PAY-207 · SOD-114 · Autonomy default A3

Applies incoming cash to open invoices, manages credit exposure, and orchestrates dunning — keeping DSO falling without burning customer relationships.

  1. Read every remittance. Parses bank files, remittance advices, and lockbox images to identify the payer and intent.
  2. Apply at machine confidence. Matches cash to invoices including partials, discounts, and consolidated payments.
  3. Keep credit current. Refreshes credit exposure from payment behavior and bureau data, flagging limit breaches.
  4. Run the dunning ladder. Sequences reminders by customer history and value — gentle for reliable payers, firm for chronic late ones.
  5. Escalate disputes early. Short-pays with dispute markers route to the Disputes Agent rather than another reminder.
  6. Report cash performance. Streams applied-cash and DSO movement to Treasury and the Command Center.
Controls: RCV-005 · RCV-013 · Autonomy default A3

Validates indirect tax on every transaction, prepares statutory filings and e-invoicing submissions, and tracks mandate changes across every jurisdiction the group operates in.

  1. Validate tax in-line. Checks indirect tax determination on transactions as they post, not at period end.
  2. Track every mandate. Monitors e-invoicing and digital reporting mandates by country, adapting formats as rules change.
  3. Assemble the filings. Drafts VAT/GST returns and statutory schedules from ledger data with working papers attached.
  4. Reconcile to the GL. Ties every filing figure back to the ledger and flags unexplained gaps.
  5. Queue for review. Tax owns the submission at A2 — the agent presents the filing with its evidence packet.
  6. Archive audit-ready. Filed returns and their lineage are preserved in the Evidence Ledger per jurisdiction retention rules.

RISK, COMPLIANCE & AUDIT

Lights-Out Assurance

Assurance as a property of the runtime, not a report after the fact. Test populations, not samples — and package the proof.

Monitors every control continuously, tests full transaction populations instead of samples, enforces segregation of duties in the runtime, and generates SOX evidence as a by-product of operations.

  1. Map controls to agents. Every agent action is born mapped to the controls it operates under — coverage is structural.
  2. Test the whole population. Runs control tests across 100% of transactions continuously, not 25 samples at year-end.
  3. Enforce SOD in the runtime. Conflicting duties are blocked at execution time — a violation can't happen quietly.
  4. Intervene before impact. A breach — like a vendor created and approved by the same user — halts the payment before the run.
  5. Package evidence automatically. Passing tests stream into audit-ready evidence packets on the Ledger.
  6. Report control health. Live control status feeds the Control Tower and the audit committee dashboard.
Controls: SOD-114 · JE-031 · CTL-001 · Autonomy default A4

Detects transaction anomalies and fraud patterns across the enterprise in near-real time, and keeps the risk register current from live signals rather than quarterly workshops.

  1. Watch every flow. Streams transactions from finance, procurement, and revenue systems through anomaly models.
  2. Correlate weak signals. Combines individually-innocent signals — timing, counterparty, pattern — into risk hypotheses.
  3. Triage with context. Scores and explains each anomaly, discarding noise before humans are involved.
  4. Update the register live. Emerging risks are written to the register with evidence, owner proposals, and trend data.
  5. Alert the right owner. High-severity findings page the control owner with the full trail attached.
  6. Learn from dispositions. Every confirmed or dismissed alert tunes the models — the false-positive rate keeps falling.
Controls: RSK-002 · RSK-009 · Autonomy default A4

Scans the regulatory horizon, maps new obligations to policies and controls, and runs attestation workflows — so compliance is a maintained state, not an annual project.

  1. Scan the horizon. Monitors regulatory sources across every operating jurisdiction for changes that touch the business.
  2. Assess applicability. Filters changes to the obligations that actually apply, with reasoning documented.
  3. Map to policy and control. Links each obligation to the policies and runtime controls that satisfy it — gaps become findings.
  4. Drive attestations. Schedules and chases attestation campaigns, pre-filling evidence where the Ledger already proves compliance.
  5. Escalate the gaps. Unmapped obligations route to the Workbench with a proposed policy or control change.
  6. Keep the register audit-ready. The obligations register and its lineage are exportable for regulators on demand.
Controls: CMP-003 · CMP-011 · Autonomy default A3

Automates the PBC list, packages evidence, documents walkthroughs, and runs a secure portal for external auditors — shrinking audit effort on both sides of the table.

  1. Maintain the PBC standing. Keeps the prepared-by-client list perpetually current — most items are already on the Ledger.
  2. Package population evidence. Exports full-population test results and transaction trails in auditor-consumable formats.
  3. Document the walkthroughs. Generates process walkthrough documentation from actual agent traces — the process is the documentation.
  4. Run the auditor portal. External auditors work read-only against governed exports; every access is logged.
  5. Answer follow-ups fast. Auditor queries resolve against the Ledger in minutes, with the trail preserved.
  6. Close the loop. Findings and management responses are tracked to remediation inside the same system.
Controls: AUD-001 · AUD-007 · Autonomy default A3

Drafts and refreshes policies, tracks exceptions against them, and maintains the policy-to-control linkage — closing the gap between what policy says and what the enterprise does.

  1. Detect drift. Compares actual operating patterns from agent traces against written policy — divergence is a signal.
  2. Draft the refresh. Proposes policy updates in tracked changes, grounded in what the evidence shows actually works.
  3. Track every exception. Exceptions carry owners and expiry dates; nothing is granted in perpetuity by default.
  4. Keep the linkage live. Every policy clause maps to the controls that enforce it — the Compliance Agent consumes this map.
  5. Route for approval. Policy changes are human decisions at A2 — the agent prepares, owners decide.
  6. Publish with lineage. Approved policies version into the library with their full decision trail.

OPERATIONS & SHARED SERVICES

Lights-Out Operations

The shared-services layer, self-running — from intake to master data to Day-1 carve-out programs.

The omnichannel front door for shared services: classifies every request, resolves what policy allows autonomously, and routes the rest with complete context and SLA awareness.

  1. Receive on every channel. Email, chat, portal, and system events land in one intake stream.
  2. Understand the request. Classifies intent, entity, urgency, and entitlement — including the messy, multi-part ones.
  3. Resolve within policy. Answers with policy citations and executes system changes it is entitled to make.
  4. Route the remainder with context. The few that need humans arrive triaged, summarized, and SLA-clocked.
  5. Watch the clock. SLA risk triggers escalation before breach, not after.
  6. Mine the patterns. Recurring requests become automation candidates, reported weekly to service owners.
Controls: OPS-001 · OPS-014 · Autonomy default A4

Runs requisition-to-PO, onboards vendors with risk screening, and checks spend against contracts continuously — collapsing procurement cycle times while tightening compliance.

  1. Validate the requisition. Checks need, budget, and sourcing policy the moment a req is raised.
  2. Screen the vendor. Runs sanctions, financial-health, and conflict checks on new vendors before onboarding.
  3. Route by threshold. Within-policy purchases flow straight to PO; threshold breaches route to sourcing.
  4. Check spend against contract. Invoiced prices and volumes are verified against contract terms continuously.
  5. Flag leakage. Off-contract and maverick spend surfaces weekly with recovery proposals.
  6. Evidence the chain. The full req-to-PO trail, screens included, lands on the Evidence Ledger.
Controls: PRC-004 · PRC-012 · SOD-114 · Autonomy default A3

Handles HR service requests, orchestrates onboarding and offboarding across systems, and resolves payroll queries — the HR shared-services desk that never queues.

  1. Orchestrate day one. A signed offer triggers equipment, access, payroll, and compliance tasks across every system.
  2. Verify readiness. Confirms every dependency is complete before day one — and chases the ones that aren't.
  3. Resolve payroll queries. Answers pay questions from actual payroll data with policy citations, privately and instantly.
  4. Handle the lifecycle. Transfers, leaves, and changes propagate to all systems from a single request.
  5. Offboard without gaps. Departure triggers access revocation inside an hour, asset recovery, and final-pay checks.
  6. Protect the data. PII handling runs under HRS-002 with access logged on the Ledger.
Controls: HRS-002 · HRS-009 · Autonomy default A3

Creates, enriches, deduplicates, and governs vendor, customer, and material master data — so every downstream agent works from records that are actually true.

  1. Gate every create. New vendor, customer, and material requests are validated, enriched, and screened before they exist.
  2. Hunt duplicates continuously. ML matching finds duplicate and near-duplicate records across systems and merges within policy.
  3. Enrich from authoritative sources. Registries, tax IDs, and bank verification keep golden records current.
  4. Govern the changes. Sensitive field changes — bank details above all — require out-of-band verification.
  5. Score quality live. Every domain carries a live quality score with the failing rules itemized.
  6. Serve the fleet. Clean masters feed Payables, Procurement, Revenue — data quality compounds across agents.
Controls: MDM-001 · MDM-007 · SOD-114 · Autonomy default A3

Reads contracts, certificates, and correspondence at enterprise volume: extracts terms and obligations, watches expiries, and routes documents to the processes that need them.

  1. Ingest everything. Contracts, certificates, notices, and correspondence flow in from every channel and repository.
  2. Extract with confidence scores. Terms, parties, amounts, and obligations are extracted; low-confidence fields route to review.
  3. Register the obligations. Contractual obligations land in the obligations register with owners and due dates.
  4. Watch the expiries. Insurance certificates, guarantees, and terms are tracked with a 60-day warning horizon.
  5. Route to the process. Each document reaches the agent or team that acts on it — with the extraction attached.
  6. Retain by rule. Storage and disposal follow retention policy DOC-010, logged on the Ledger.
Controls: DOC-003 · DOC-010 · Autonomy default A3

Runs entity separation and migration programs: data mapping, cutover checklists, parallel-run verification, and Day-1 readiness — productizing playbooks proven in live divestiture programs.

  1. Map the separation. Builds the entity, chart-of-accounts, and data mapping between legacy and target structures.
  2. Generate the runbook. Compiles the cutover checklist — every item — with owners and dependencies.
  3. Migrate with verification. Every data movement is verified by count, value, and sample-free reconciliation.
  4. Run parallel and compare. Legacy and target run in parallel; the agent reconciles outcomes within tolerance MIG-008.
  5. Gate Day-1 on evidence. Cutover proceeds only when gate criteria are demonstrably met — the evidence is the go decision.
  6. Operate through Day-1. On Day-1 the full agent fleet is already live in the new entity — finance runs without interruption.

REVENUE & REVOPS

Lights-Out Revenue

Order to renewal at machine speed — with the compliance spine that CRM tooling ignores.

Validates orders, generates billing across subscription, usage, and milestone models, and issues invoices that are right the first time — the revenue engine's front half.

  1. Validate at order entry. Checks completeness, pricing, credit, and contract linkage before an order books.
  2. Meter and rate usage. Collects usage events, rates them against the contract, and accrues continuously.
  3. Generate the invoice. Produces invoices per model and mandate — e-invoicing formats included — same day.
  4. Reconcile billing to contract. Every invoice ties to contract terms; drift is caught before the customer sees it.
  5. Handle amendments cleanly. Contract changes reprice open orders and future billing with the delta documented.
  6. Feed revenue and receivables. Billing data streams to Revenue Recognition and Receivables in real time.
Controls: Q2C-002 · Q2C-009 · Autonomy default A3

Reviews contracts under ASC 606 / IFRS 15, maps performance obligations, allocates transaction price, maintains revenue schedules, and reruns them on every amendment.

  1. Read the contract. Parses agreements and amendments, identifying terms that affect recognition.
  2. Map performance obligations. Applies the five-step model, documenting distinctness reasoning per ASC 606-10-25.
  3. Allocate the price. Allocates transaction price on SSP evidence maintained by the engine.
  4. Build the schedules. Generates recognition schedules per obligation, posting entries on cadence.
  5. Rerun on every change. Amendments trigger reallocation and schedule reruns with the delta explained.
  6. Present, don't post. At A2, judgment calls go to revenue accounting with the full analysis attached.
Controls: REV-606 · REV-012 · Autonomy default A2

Prioritizes collection worklists by risk and value, drafts tone-matched outreach from payment history, tracks promises to pay, and escalates strategically — not mechanically.

  1. Prioritize by expected value. Ranks the worklist by amount, age, risk, and likelihood to pay — not just oldest-first.
  2. Draft in the right tone. Reliable payers get gentle nudges; chronic late payers get firm terms. History decides.
  3. Release with human sign-off. At A2 the credit manager reviews and releases outreach in one click.
  4. Track every promise. Promises to pay are logged and reconciled against actual cash — slippage triggers follow-up.
  5. Detect disputes early. Dispute language in replies reroutes the account before another reminder damages the relationship.
  6. Escalate with the file. True escalations reach account executives with the complete payment story attached.
Controls: COL-003 · COL-011 · Autonomy default A2

Classifies disputes and deductions by root cause, assembles the evidence file, resolves what policy allows, and recovers invalid deductions that would otherwise leak.

  1. Classify on arrival. Every dispute is root-caused: pricing, delivery, quality, promo compliance, or error.
  2. Assemble the file. Pulls the PO, delivery proof, contract terms, and correspondence into one evidence file.
  3. Resolve within policy. Valid deductions clear per policy; invalid ones generate a documented recovery claim.
  4. Recover the leakage. Chases invalid deductions to cash, tracking recovery through resolution.
  5. Fix the root cause. Recurring causes become process-change proposals routed to the owning team.
  6. Report the economics. Leakage, recovery, and resolution metrics stream to revenue leadership monthly.
Controls: DSP-002 · DSP-008 · Autonomy default A3

Scores renewal risk from usage, sentiment, and engagement signals, orchestrates save-plays before risk becomes churn, and surfaces expansion opportunities alongside.

  1. Watch the signals. Usage depth, support tone, sponsor changes, and engagement trends feed the risk model.
  2. Score every renewal. Each account carries a live renewal-risk score with the contributing factors ranked.
  3. Trigger plays early. Risk over threshold launches a save-play months before renewal — while it can still work.
  4. Draft the intervention. Proposes the play — executive outreach, success plan, commercial option — for CS approval at A2.
  5. Govern the discounts. Commercial concessions stay inside discount policy RNW-010, logged and approved.
  6. Find the upside. The same signals surface expansion-ready accounts to the sales team with evidence.
Controls: RNW-004 · RNW-010 · Autonomy default A2

Handles order status, refunds, and account queries with policy guardrails and clean human handoff — resolving the routine so people handle the relationships.

  1. Answer from the systems. Order status, delivery, and account answers come from live systems, not scripts.
  2. Resolve within guardrails. Refunds and adjustments execute within CCR-002 thresholds, documented automatically.
  3. Know when to hand off. Emotion, complexity, or entitlement edges trigger a human handoff — with the full context packaged.
  4. Keep tone human. Responses are matched to the customer's situation; policy is cited, never hidden behind.
  5. Close the loop. Resolved contacts feed satisfaction tracking and the Customer Pulse themes.
  6. Log for assurance. Every resolution and refund lands on the Evidence Ledger under revenue controls.
